While we all love luxurious toilet tissue, like you we all love trees. Which is why, here at Velvet®, we plant millions of saplings every year. For every tree we use, we replace it with three new ones. So we need your support for our Campaign for Trees, because the more people who choose our lovely soft, soft, soft Velvet®, the more lovely trees there will be.

Our Trees for Cities project

As part of our on-going Campaign for Trees, this year we asked everyone to nominate an area they thought deserved to be transformed with lovely green trees – making yet another urban space, a softer, greener, lovelier place.

The most nominated areas were then short-listed to the 10 most nominated areas and voted on. And we’re pleased to announce our 2010 winner was Birmingham.

With the help of the Trees for Cities charity, the Velvet® Community Orchard at Witton Lakes Park, Birmingham was officially opened by Alison Hammond in July 2011. The park was transformed with £20,000 worth of renovation and beautiful green trees.
